Here are a few places to visit near our rentals (from nearest to furthest), but there are many more to explore!

Bois-Vieux Beach

Located just 3 km from our "Morgon" and "Colombis" studios, this beach offers a wide range of water sports as well as floating swimming pools during the summer season. You can also enjoy on-site dining and occasional live music events.

"Demoiselles Coiffées" (Fairy Chimneys)

Several sites allow you to admire these natural geological wonders carved over time: above the village of Théus, in Pontis (near Savines-le-Lac), or less than 2 km from the Morgon and Colombis studios! Feel free to ask us for details.

If you visit the Demoiselles Coiffées in Théus, carry on up to the orientation table at Mount Colombis. Perched at 1,700 m, you can admire Lake Serre-Ponçon, the Chabrières Needles, Mount Morgon, Dormillouse, the Ubaye Valley and much more! Enjoy an almost 360° view (excluding the antennas, of course!).

Saint-Michel Chapel

This iconic chapel is sometimes accessible on foot when the water level is low (in spring). In summer, you will need to rent a boat. Please note that you cannot go inside as its doors are walled up.

Lake Saint-Apollinaire

Surrounded by pine trees, this natural lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, offering breathtaking views over Lake Serre-Ponçon and the Morgon massif.

Chabrières Needles

Starting from the Réallon ski resort, this hike quickly brings you to the ridges overlooking the lake. An orientation chart just below the peaks will help you identify the surrounding mountains.

"Marmite des Géants" (Giants’ Kettle)

Starting from the hamlet of Les Gourniers (village of Réallon), follow the discovery trail. You can then extend your walk along the mountain stream up to the Pré d’Antoni hut.

Morgon Cirque

This mountain cirque is very popular in summer and has a paid parking area, but the views are breathtaking. A true must-see in the region!

Lake Siguret

A bit further from our rentals (about an hour’s drive), this glacial lake is accessible by car and offers a grand view of Mount Guillaume and Tête de l’Hivernet.

Parpaillon Tunnel

Located at over 2,600 m above sea level, this tunnel is actually part of a county road! You can access it by 4x4, quad, or on foot. Be careful: it is not uncommon to find ice inside even in early July.
